Facom's 40R series are available for purchase as open-stock or in sets. The open end design allows fast rotation....the tool can be positioned for the next turn without removing it from the fastener. For plumbing and fitting applications, I still prefer the straight open end of the standard 40 series. However, for the R&R of basic nut/bolt fasteners, the 40R series has the speed advantage.

Technical Advantage - 3 drive surfaces for greater torque application - more wrench-to-fastener contact points. Reduced risk of fastener wear and less chance of wrench slippage. Ratchet effect is twice as fast as any conventional open end wrench.
