Facom 1/4" drive tools are recommended for fasteners with torque values to 20 ft lbs. Their palm control ratchets (steadying pressure can be applied with your hand without changing the direction of the ratchet) are the best I've found anywhere, regardless of price. Facom ratchets combined with their 6 point drive sockets are ideal for many critical engine fasteners (water pumps, timing covers, oil pan, etc).

The 1/4" drive tool sets, because of their compact design, are also handy around the house for general purpose repairs.....both my mother and mother-in-law both have these sets tucked away in a kitchen drawer for emergencies.
