Facom Insulated Tools (VE/VSE)

 

Facom's VSE line of insulated tools are popular with electricians and mechanical contractors around the world. Many of these contractors are forced to work on or around live circuits. Insulated tools can protect not only the user but also the components being serviced. And when it comes to automotive maintenance, with fuel in the mix, an inadvertent spark can start a fire or damage sensitive (and costly) electronics.

As a homeowner and backyard mechanic, I use the tools below for.......

All Facom VSE tools are tested to 10,000v for 10 seconds at the end of the manufacturing cycle. Tools are certified for use on live circuits and components up to 1000v AC and 1500v DC.

 

Screwdrivers

Designed for working on live components up to 1000v (AC) and 1500v (DC) . Ergotwist handle. Blade tip exposure is 15mm on slotted drivers and 18mm on phillips drivers. Ideal for terminal strip connections.

113 Series Adjustable Wrenches - 2 sizes are currently available from stock. The 113.8T has a 27mm capacity (8 1/4" overall length) and the 113.15T has a 44mm capacity (15" overall length).
