The Attix 8 (8 gallon canister - this model is sold as the Attix 3 in Europe) is the recommended model for homeowners, contractors, auto detailers and others who require great performance and low noise in a compact, highly mobile package.

There are 3 variations of the Attix 8 available through Ultimate Garage....the Basic, the AS/E and the HEPA-Plus. All of these vacuums share the following.......

Attix 8 Basic & HEPA

The Attix 8 Basic and HEPA models are very similar....they share the same chassis and accessories. The only difference is the filter element....the HEPA element filters to 0.3 microns, the standard filter to 1 micron. Ultimate Garage now includes both standard and HEPA elements with the more expensive model, sold as a HEPA-Plus. . This way the machine can be effectively used for coarse or damp construction debris without damaging the costly HEPA element. The filters can be easily exchanged in less a minute.

RDFL upgrade package - for heavy duty cleaning applications.. Includes plastic coated filter liner and a heavy duty metal floor tool. Filter liner protects the fleece filter element when a filter bag cannot be used (eg, wet pickup or large debris removal) and provides an additional level of filtration. Well suited for handling fine dust mixed with moisture (eg, concrete dust after making cuts with a wet saw). The industrial aluminum floor tool (14 1/2" wide) is a multi-purpose nozzle suitable for dry pickup (with brush inserts) or wet pickup (with squeegee inserts). Tool comes with both sets of inserts. Alto Attix 8 AS/E (with autostart)

Attix 8 AS/E

The Attix 8 AS/E is intended for woodworkers, drywall contractors and others who need a highly portable machine for dust extraction purposes. The 1 1/4" x 16' long Anti-Static hose can be connected to the dust port on an electric sander, the sander plugged into the vacuum, and the AS/E's Auto-Start feature will remotely turn on the vacuum by activating the power tool. The suction of the vac can be regulated though the Speed Control switch.

Attix 8 AS/E Chassis

This model also features a "Push & Clean" filter cleaning system, especially important for drywall and general contractors who operate the machine without the filter bag. By putting your hand over the hose inlet and pushing the button on the top of the machine, air is blasted across the filter element to help remove the dirt and restore any lost performance. There's an audible alarm to notify the user when the filter needs cleaning.

Attix 8 AS/E Feature Details (see photo above)

A - Tool Plug Tap (600w max) - with knob E turned to the (left) AutoStart position, the vacuum will start when the power tool is switched on.

B - "Push to Clean" Button

C - Cable Hook and accessory holder

D - Suction Hose Setting (AS/E model only) - set the knob to the corresponding hose diameter. The AS/E comes standard with a 1 1/4" (32mm) diameter hose. Settings are 27mm, 32mm, 36mm and 50mm.

E - Power Switch - turn to the left for AutoStart, to the right for Manual start. Variable speed control is available in either mode. This is helpful when vacuuming delicate items where full suction is not desirable. SoftStart controls keep the starting current low to prevent tripping circuit breakers.

F - Hose Inlet - accepts all 1", 1 1/4", 1 1/2" and 2" hoses sold through Ultimate Garage.

Standard Accessories

The Attix 8 models include the accessories above. The AS/E's hose is 1 1/4" x 16' long (Anti-Static, black). The Basic and HEPA models come with a 1 1/2" diameter x 10' hose (Oil Resistant, silver). All vacs include 1 filter bag. Additional packs of 5 are available through the online store.
