Systainer Storage Cases
Systainer storage cases, manufactured by Tanos GmbH of Germany, are great for storing and transporting your small to mid-sized power tools and accessories. Cases can be latched together for easier transport. They are easily stored on workshop shelves or in mobile cabinets with pull-out trays.

Sortainer Drawer & Compartment Storage
I first saw the Sortainers in a Festool catalog a few years ago and mentally compared them with all the cheap acrylic units I've seen over the years. When a customer ordered a pair of Sortainers, I got a chance to evaluate them first hand and quickly realized these are in a different class with regard to quality and function. Four Sortainer configurations are available (4, 6, 9 and 12 drawer) with drawer dividers and safety latches on each drawer to prevent them from sliding out during transport. In addition, Sortainers can be latched together or to any of the standard size (15 5/8" x 11 5/8") Systainers.
The Sortainer / Systainer approach to tool and parts storage is the ultimate "grab and go" system for the home or professional contractor!

Systainers in the Field and in the Workshop
All Festool power tools come with their own Systainer storage case. The cases can be purchased empty or with a variety of inserts to accommodate specific storage needs, Festool or otherwise. I use these for my Wap vacuum hose and accessories and storing all of my non-Festool power tools....Bosch, Makita, Porter Cable, DeWalt, etc. Since the 5 basic Systainer sizes all have the same base dimensions, they stack (and latch together) perfectly.
Systainers can be stored in 39" high carts which include casters and 5 telescoping drawers....."Systainer Ports" .

Systainers can be purchased with special inserts....foam padding, tool storage inserts, plastic storage boxes, pull-out drawers ("Sortainers"), etc.
Systainers have latches in front and on the sides to keep them closed....these can also be used to latch multiple units together.
