Orders

Orders can be submitted by phone (201-262-0412), via fax (Fax # 201-262-1714) or through the Online Store. Local customers may make arrangements to pickup their orders at my location in Emerson, NJ.

Ultimate Garage does not accept online orders outside of the United States. Canadian orders will only be accepted via phone or email. No purchase orders or CODs.

Prices are in US dollars. All pricing is subject to change without notice.

Payment Options

UItimate Garage accepts payment via Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Paypal. The online checkout with the credit card payment option will prompt you for account name and billing address, account number and expiration date, the security code from the card and your telephone contact information. Transactions that cannot properly "address verified" (eg, most Canada & Puerto Rico bank credit cards) will have to be settled through a Paypal account.

If you prefer to pay via check, an invoice/quote will be emailed or faxed to your attention. Check or money order should be payable to Ultimate Garage . Check orders are subject to processing delays. A $35.00 fee will be charged on any returned checks.

 

 

Shipping

Most stock items are shipped from my NJ warehouse via Fedex ground. Delivery times are shown on the map below. Heavy items (compressors, cabinets, etc) will typically be drop-shipped from the manufacturer.

Fedex Ground delivery transit times (from NJ)

Small orders shipped to residential addresses (ie, under $50 and less than 5 lbs) may be shipped through Fedex's SmartPost service...Fedex picks up the packages but the delivery is made through the US postal service.

The shipping cost for most US ground shipments, regardless of the number of items, is a fixed $10.00 charge per order (excludes AK, HI, PR & Canada). Any additional freight costs (due to heavy or oversized individual items) will be indicated in the item description or disclosed (via phone or email) before your order is processed.

Air shipment (Overnight, 2nd day, and 3-day Fedex service) is available at additional cost. Shipping cost to Canada, Alaska and Hawaii will be quoted in advance and actual charges applied to your invoice when the order is processed.

Festool tool and accessory orders over $150 are shipped prepaid freight (FedEx ground) within the 48 Continental states. The $10.00 freight charge will be manually credited to your order when the transaction is processed.

Order Tracking

Since most orders are consolidated and packed by Ultimate Garage in NJ, a FedEx tracking number will typically be generated on the day your order is processed so that you may track your order online (at www.fedex.com). High value items will require an adult signature to verify their delivery.

Damage & Shortage Claims

All damages and shortages must be reported within 72 hours . All original boxes must be retained for carrier inspection of damage claims.

 

 

Returns

I will not accept unauthorized returns. No returns on electrical items, publications or special orders. No returns on USED items. All returns must be in the original packaging and will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. No returns after 30 days. Freight costs will not be refunded. Refunds can only be issued against the credit card used for the original purchase.

Festool offers a 30-day money back guarantee on their tools. If you are not completely satisfied, you can return your Festool tool within 30 days of your purchase for any reason. Please contact our office for a return authorization. We will supply you with the correct address for your return. Not all types of returns are to be shipped to the same address – so this is very important. All return items must be in original condition with all tags attached and in original packaging.

Warranty

Most products carry the manufacturer's warranty but the claim must be initiated through Ultimate Garage. Ultimate Garage is NOT responsible for shipping costs or labor reimbursement on items submitted and/or replaced under warranty. Ultimate Garage will NOT warranty or provide technical support for products purchase through a different vendor.

Parts - most new BMW parts purchased carry a 1 year warranty. There is no warranty on electrical parts or consumable items (eg, brake pads and rotors) unless they are found to be defective upon receipt (claim must be reported within 7 days of receipt). Catalytic converters carry a limited warranty (2yrs on the catalytic units, 4yrs on the pipes) and must be sent back to the manufacturer for examination and replacement if necessary.

Alto/Wap Vacuums - 1 year warranty on labor, 2 years on parts. Claims should be submitted through Ultimate Garage.

Facom Tools - most Facom tools are covered with a lifetime warranty with the following exceptions.......

  • Abused or cosmetically affected tools (that are still functional)
  • Ratchets that are slipping due to lack of maintenance (ie, assuming ratchet body, pawl, spring and other components are not broken)
  • Consumables (blades, shear pins, etc), drill bits, drift punches (and other tools subject to hammer force)
  • Torque wrenches - 1yr warranty
