Cabinet A (9-drawer)
The heart of the workstation is
this 9-drawer tool cabinet ("A"). If you
only have the space or budget for 1 cabinet, this is
the one to get. The housing measures 47" wide x
28 1/2" deep x 41 3/4" high (with toe-kick
base, w/o countertop). Actual storage area for each
drawer is 42" wide x 24" deep (1008 sq in
or 7 sq ft)....total of 63 sq ft of tool storage in
this one cabinet.
Cabinet
cost with the drawer accessories* detailed below is $2,795.00 +
freight (add $500 for custom colors). Most tools shown are
currently available for purchase with your cabinet
(they are not in the price above). Look for an
"Ultimate Tool Set" (cabinet + tools,
complete with configured drawer interiors) to be
available by Spring 2008.
*Drawer accessories are
shipped with the order but the customer must arrange
them to accommodate their own storage needs. They do
not come pre-installed in the drawers! The pictures
below can be used as a guide. Ultimate Garage can
also provide this organization service for local
customers....$40 per drawer + cost of any additional
accessories.

The
photo above (and the one below) shows the storage of
factory specialty tools for BMW. I've worked with
several high end car dealerships and a few race teams
to improve the organization and tool control for
their expensive specialty tools. I've seen too many
"unit shops" in dealerships with tool
boards missing over half of the items due to theft or
misplacement.

Drawer #9 - (5" height) - Catch-all drawer.
Hammers and mallets, files, saws and other cutting
tools, etc.
