Attix 30
(8 Gallon) AS/E Wet & Dry Vacuum..... This model is well suited for small
power tool (mainly sanders) dust extraction and comes with Electric
Autostart....the
plug tap on the front of the machine is rated at 600w. It also
includes a 1
1/4" x 16' Anti-Static hose.
Size and performance are the
same as the Basic and Hepa models.....18x15" footprint, 23
lbs net weight, 1000w motor running at 60-62db and generating 92
inches of water lift. The electronics are slightly different for
this model because of the Auto-start feature....Softstart
circuitry keeps the
starting current low and Speed Control allows the user to regulate the suction
(in both Manual and Auto-start modes)

In the 8 gallon size, the Attix
30 Basic is a commercial quality machine at a respectable
price.....it is the least expensive in the Attix lineup of
vacuums. It offers several convenience and performance
improvements over the Attix 8 model it replaces. For further

Note - with the recent bed bug epidemic, some retailers are marketing a
"Bed Bug Vacuum" . All of the Alto vacuums with
sealable fleece filter bags are suitable for bed bug extraction
but the cleaning and eradication typically requires more than dilligent
vacuuming. Hepa level filtration is not required in my opinion as
the bags will capture any of the bugs and eggs. It is very
important to remove, seal and discard the bags (outside the home)
after any bed bug extraction. A turbo floor nozzle (with beater bar) for carpeting and nylon bristle upholstery
nozzle for mattresses and upholstery should be
used and transport plug installed on the inlet port immediately
after turning off the vacuum.
