Alto Aero 21 INOX (5 gallon) - the New AERO series are homeowner grade vacuums with commercial grade filtration. They are also suitable for light industrial use. The Aero series are available in 5 gallon (with either a hard plastic or stainless steel canister), 6.6 gallon (hard plastic canister) or 8 gallon (stainless steel canister) sizes. Performance is the same on all...the models differ in capacity, features and functionality.

The Aero 21 Inox is the same as the Basic model but comes with a stainless steel canister. I don't see any technical advantage of the stainless steel vs the plastic canister...its a matter of cosmetics. I personally like the commercial/industrial look of the stainless steel canister with the black & blue of the motor assembly. However, if you're contractor needing to transport a small vacuum to various jobsites, stick with the plastic canister models....they're lighter, slightly smaller, and less likely to dent or scratch in the back of your truck or van.
