Made in France.
Note - Facom's classic
pozidriv screwdrivers (Black Series, Isoryl, Ergotwist and
Enduro) were easily identifiable with a black
"burnished" shaft. This was so they would not be
confused with phillips screwdrivers and cause fastener damage if
used improperly. The only Facom screwdrivers available today with
the black shaft are the pozidriv ones in the Isoryl series. These
black shafts should be kept oiled with a light penetrating oil
(WD40 or comparable) to prevent surface rust. Facom went to color
coded caps on their Protwist series screwdrivers and
all of the shafts are now chrome plated for rust prevention. Blue
caps and markings identify Facom's "pozidriv"
screwdrivers.
