The Wera 879/4 M10 is a highly specialized, power-tool-ready Internal Thread Insertion Tool. It is explicitly engineered for the rapid mechanical driving and installation of M10 metric hanger bolts, engine studs, clamp screws, and threaded rods without damaging their external threads.

Operational Advantage - Instead of utilizing standard nuts or double-nutting methods to screw down a threaded stud, this insert tool spins seamlessly over the exposed M10 threads. Once it meets the shoulder or flush base of the hardware, it locks up under friction to rapidly seat the bolt into wood or anchor plugs.
