Description:

Thermostat (80C)-VW Golf, Jetta, Passat, etc - left over spare from VW's I owned in the 80's.  Wahler "4256" does not include the o-ring. The later 4256D included this part.

The current Wahler thermostats are made in Brazil.  This one is stamped "W. Germany" on the part. This NOS part was obviously produced before Oct 1990 when East and West Germany became one again.
