Description:

Exhaust Manifold Stud (6mm diameter) - M3 (88-91), M5/M6 (87-93) (with thread stop) - The factory BMW studs are "full thread".  You have to take care to thread them all evenly into the cylinder head.  These German studs (30 left in stock) have 8mm of thread into the head before they hit the stop.  There's approx 20mm of thread on the manifold side of the stop.  I think this is a better design (the old M10/M30 factory exhaust studs used to have a thread stop) and they're considerably less expensive.
