The Facom 113A.8TG is an 8-inch (206 mm) heavy-duty adjustable wrench featuring a black phosphate finish and a sheathed comfort-grip handle.
Within Facom's nomenclature, the codes indicate its distinct build:
- "T" (Phosphate): The tool features a dark, chemically treated black phosphate body with finely ground, polished jaw faces. This finish offers superb industrial oil resistance and reduces workplace glare compared to chrome.
- "G" (Grip/Sheathed): It includes a fitted plastic sleeve over the handle to insulate against cold temperatures, reduce pressure on the palm, and improve traction.
(Note: The sheathed-phosphate "TG" series has been largely phased out by the manufacturer. It has been replaced by the bare-metal alternative, the Facom 113A.8T, which shares identical mechanical tolerances).
