BMW part number 11429064275 (11-42-9-064-275) is a factory engine oil filter element kit.  Sold as a MAHLE OX39D drop-in cartridge specification.  Alternate part number is 11422241165.  The Mahle brand is highly desirable but difficult to find these days.  I still have a few available. (gar2-Y2)

This filter kit is engineered exclusively to fit classic BMW platforms equipped with the 2.4L M21 Inline-6 Turbo Diesel engine: 

• 5 Series (E28 Chassis): 1985–1986 BMW 524td (North American Market) & 1983–1987 524td (European Market)
• 3 Series (E30 Chassis): 1985–1993 BMW 324td / 324d (European Market)

Because this is a complete service kit package rather than a standalone filter element, it packages all necessary physical sealing components required during a standard lubrication change:

• (1) Drop-In Filter Cartridge
• (1) Main Rubber O-Ring Seal (for the canister lid)
• (1) Small Cartridge Center Bolt O-Ring
• (1) Copper Oil Pan Drain Plug Crush Washer
