Historical Interchanges: BMW's reinforced rubber hangers for older models, 18211105638 (nla), 18211105635, 18211105677 (nla), 18211728332 and 18211177708 all appear to be interchangeable.  The "708" hangers I have in stock have a slightly larger diameter (67mm vs 62mm). The center support in the "708" hanger listed here is straight while the center on the cheaper "638" hanger has a slight bow to it. Regardless of which part number you go with, I'd strongly recommend these fiber reinforced factory hangers (see photo comparison with aftermarket) as they are typically more reliable with a longer service life.
