Rubber Muffler Hanger-525i (89-95) (diameter=62mm) - Genuine BMW with reinforcement webbing. These have proven to be the best. (gar2-Y4)

Historical Interchanges: BMW's reinforced rubber hangers for older models, 18211105638 (nla), 18211105635, 18211105677 (nla), 18211728332 and 18211177708 all appear to be interchangeable.  The "638" hanger is the most abundant in my inventory and available at the lowest cost. 

The physical dimensions for the 18211105638 and 18211728332 factory BMW exhaust hangers are identical - outer diameter of 62 mm and an inner diameter of 48 mm. The center support in the "332" hanger listed here is straight while the center on the "638" hanger has a slight bow to it. Regardless of which part number you go with, I'd strongly recommend these fiber reinforced factory hangers (see photo comparison with aftermarket) as they are typically more reliable with a longer service life.
