Comments on Headlights & Foglights - I've had these lights in their original boxes stored in a temperature control environment for 20+ years. However, there will be a haze/fog on the inside of the lights, on the reflectors and on the glass/plastic. This is due to an outgassing of the plastics with the VOC's condensing on the surfaces. The same process happens on the inside of your car's windshield (imagine what that would look like if your car were parked for 25 years). I've looked at other photos of lights for sale online and I see the same haze in most of the photos. I've used 91% rubbing alcohol for effectively cleaning my cameras and lenses and a bit of alcohol swished around inside the lights for a brief time works wonders (see photo). 99.9% alcohol has a faster drying time and may leave less residue but I have not had a chance to try it. I'm a bit leary using a hairdryer after using any highly combustible (alcohol) products. Compressed air is safer. A spark from the hairdryer fan motor with a high concentration of alcohol fumes might be "problematic". You can also try using distilled water followed by a hairdryer but I found the alcohol more effective.
These headlights and foglights are being sold "as is" , inspected for cracks and damage. The internal cloudiness is NOT considered a defect.
