Classic Facom 5pc 74 Series Nut Driver - 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 7/16" and 1/2". Found these 5 new fractional nut drivers in a "grab & go" set that I put together in 2007. Facom no longer offers fractional sizes (only metric). Tools appear in "like new" condition....the printed size on the handle for the 5/16" size can use a bit of touch-up with a gold marker if you're a collector (size is also imprinted at the drive end). Catalog Evolution & Replacement Options
Because the base 74 series with acetate handles is a discontinued vintage line, tracking down this exact variant usually relies on New Old Stock (NOS) specialized warehouses. If you are replacing this tool or modernizing a set, the product line has evolved through the following successive generations:
- Generation 2 (74A): Succeeded the original model by introducing the first-generation soft-polyurethane Protwist handle core to improve ergonomic hand-grip friction and minimize long-term user strain.
- Current Production (Gen 3) (74AT): The active design profile in production today. It incorporates the finalized multi-component Protwist screwdriver grip, combining hard plastic shock resistance with soft non-slip grip zones optimized for grease-covered hands.
