The vintage Mazda engine oil filter (8173-23-802) primarily fits 1986 to 1998 Mazda cars, light trucks, and utility commercial vans. It is specifically built for vehicles equipped with the Mazda 2.2L F2 (Naturally Aspirated or Turbo) or 2.0L 4-cylinder engines. OEM filter, made in Japan (not China). Like the F802 series filter (also listed), it features standard M20x1.5mm threading. However, it is an older heavy-duty casing spec that was predominantly used on older commercial platforms, mid-size passenger cars, and light trucks equipped with the classic Mazda F-series engines.
