Pozidriv screws are showing up more frequently these days...in woodworking (Spax MDF screws are all pozidriv), automotive and on small appliances. The pozidriv screw can be distinguished from phillips drive by the additional markings on the head of the screw. Greater torque can be applied to a pozidriv screw without "cam-out" (torx screws are even better).
