Gedore 1/2" Drive Telescoping Reversible Ratchet (400-600mm) - a quality and much cheaper alternative to the Facom SXL.161. Better leverage with the additional 8" of length at full extension compared to the Facom ratchet. Gedore lists it as 400-600mm although I measure 395-590mm (close enough). Push-button release like the premium SXL.171 ratchet. The Gedore ratchet has 5 locking positions whereas the Facom has 8. Both are made in Taiwan and 72-tooth ratchets.
The Gedore is a fraction of the price (especially at the current promo offering) and comes with a US warranty. The Gedore feels much "beefier" than the Facom and weighs 11oz more. Max torque (per Gedore tech) is 512nm which is close to or exceding the recommended torque of most chrome sockets. (16a/17a)
