Plenty of car and shop photos from my past 30 years of designing and outfitting garages and workshops.
2026 Pricing & Tariffs (stable....for now!) - a few changes since last year. The deminimis exemption (imports below $800) is now gone which means everything coming to the US is subject to tariffs and brokerage fees. Tariffs, brokerage and other fees now average 20-25% for all countries except China which has additional (Section 301) tariffs bring their total surcharge up to 65-70%.
I've started to roll through the new pricing on the 6,000+ items in my online store and will be selling off much of my inventory with no anticipated restocking. Comments in the product listings such as "limited supply at this price" indicate a sale price based on pre-tariff costs.
Discontinued Product Lines - Ultimate Garage has recently (in 2024) dropped the Alto/Nilfisk, Prevost and Falcon Stainless product lines. The decreasing profit margins and import tariffs have guided our decision. Remaining inventory of these products will be offered at older pricing with additional discounts. Sales are limited to quantities in stock.
New Services (Organization & Storage) - With some personal issues behind me, I've taken on more modest projects with far broader appeal - organization and storage. As a "Baby Boomer", I see others like myself looking to downsize their living accommodations yet still hold onto many of the possessions accumulated over a lifetime. Ultimate Garage brings commercial/retail grade solutions and expertise to optimize your home (basements, garages, etc) or outside self-storage.
