Additional Comments - Stainless steel braided hoses marketed online and in the big box stores as superior alternative to rubber hoses and rigid metal pipes. These hoses consist of a flexible rubber inner tubing surrounded with a stainless steel metal braided sleeve. Some have metal nuts, others are plastic. There's a fair amount of discussion online, and a few horror stories, about inspecting and replacing braided hoses far more frequently than I had assumed necessary. I will be replacing all of my braided stainless supply hoses with corrugated stainless this year.
Rector Seal has since purchased Falcon and I no longer see these hoses in their brochure. I'll be keeping a few for myself and have 1 of each size for sale.
